What's the difference between TN760 and TN730?

Both toner cartrigdes work in the same printers but the TN760 contains more toner than the TN730. The TN730 only prints 1,200 pages, whereas the TN760 prints 3,000.

Do I need to replace the drum unit when I replace my toner?

No, you do not. Drum units have a much longer lifetime than toner cartridges. You only need to replace the DR730 drum unit after printing about 12,000 pages.

How do I install TN760 toner?

1. Make sure your printer is powered on.

2. Pull open front cover of your printer.

3. Pull out the entire drum and toner unit by the green handle in the middle.

4. Push down on the green lever to the left of the used TN760 toner cartridge. This should release the cartridge so you can remove it from the assembly unit.

5. Remove packaging from new TN760 replacement cartridge.

6. Push down on the green lever again and install new TN760 by sliding it into the slot. Release green lever when toner is flat onto the slot. Push down gently, you may hear a click, this means the cartridge is in place. Make sure the toner is snug in the slot and doesn't shake or move around to  make sure it's installed correctly.

7. Return the drum and toner unit back into the printer.

8. Close printer cover.

9. And you're done and ready to print!
