How do you put ink in HP Deskjet 2600?
- With your printer on, and with paper loaded on the paper feed tray, lower the paper output tray and open the ink cartridge access door. The ink cartridge access door can only be accessed if the output tray is lowered.
- Wait for the cartridge carrier to stop in the center.
- Push down gently on the cartridge you will be replacing. Gently pull out from the slot.
- Remove the packaging from your new ink cartridge. Pull off the tape protecting the nozzles. Make sure to avoid any contact with the copper-colored contacts or nozzle.
- Slide the new HP 65 ink cartridge into the empty slot. Make sure it's oriented the same way as the installed cartridge.
- Push until it clicks into place.
- Close the cartridge access door.
- You can now start printing.
